1) Who is the last person to whom you said "I love you"?

My daughter and husband this morning.  I say "I love you" often--it's so important!

2) Who did you look up to as a child?

My dad.  Our family included my dad, mom and me and my three sisters.  With all those females, the "man" of the house was widely adored!

3) Which public or historical figure (s) do you admire?

Certainly no politician!  I admire Eckard Tolle, the Dalai Lama, and all who radiate peace, love and appreciation for all.

4) What qualities in others inspire you?

Honesty, courage, loyalty, humor, and refusal to believe anything other than that the universe is perfect and all is well.

5) What makes you feel loved & appreciated?

My grown kids, who seek my advice and like being with me; my husband, who is sooo good at doing the little stuff that's ever so important.

What is your favorite family story?

Posted on Sep 15th, 2008 by Cindy : Mediator/Lawyer Cindy
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 15, 2008:

I have so many, both from my parents and sisters when I was growing up, and from my own kids.  One of my favorites....

Back in the "olden days" before I understood about talking directly to my Higher Self, and when my kids were really small, their dad and I thought it was important to take them to church and Sunday school on Sundays.  In our religion, people "take Communion" which involves receiving a small wafer while the priest says, "The Body of Christ" and taking a sip of wine.

Well, one day I stumbled on my 3 kids "playing Communion."  They had smashed up a piece of Wonder Bread into small discs and had grape juice in a goblet.  My middle son, who was about 5, was serving the bread and juice to his older brother and younger sister with the following, oh-so-solemn benediction:  "The Bottom of Christ."

Hilarious!

Happiness

I ran across this quote the other day, "There is no way to happiness.  Happiness is the way."

LOVE IT!
